I am a 100% disabled veteran in an electric wheelchair. For 18 years I received care at the Minneapolis Regional VA Medical Center where I have received care at least once per week and more typically 2-3 times per week.
When I travel for a hospital appointment the contracted transportation company makes a round trip each time, I visit the hospital.
Transcare (RydeCab) has been the best service with a “we’ll make it right” attitude and the most cheerful staff, and by far the cleanest and newest fleet I have seen in the approximate 208 rides per year for 18 years.

I’ve always been transported with respect and care. Communication about where the driver is and how soon they will arrive has been outstanding. Drivers have been courteous and have ensured my safety to and from the VA in Minneapolis.

This is a letter about the transportation service Transcare (RydeCab) provides me to and from the VA Hospital.
First the RydeCab office sends me a message telling what time a driver will pick me up from my home. The message states the time, date and the name of the driver who will be picking me up.
The drivers are helpful and friendly.
There is someone in the office that you can talk to if you need help.
The wait time is short, we never have a long wait at the VA Hospital, for our ride home.
Overall this service is the best I’ve received in my five and a half years I’ve been getting rides provided by the VA.
